Frequently asked questions


1. My account is bound to this device. What does that mean?

For iOS:

You get this message if you chose to install the game without using iOS Game Center login (e.g. because you have disabled it in the iOS settings and/or canceled the Game center login during installation)

In this case we are using a unqiue device id to identify you and log you in. On iOS this id changes with every uninstall/install of a game, that means an uninstall and new install of the game will result in a new account or in other words:

If you uninstall the game you will lose all your progress including your purchased items.

However an update of the app is not problematic as you will keep your device id then.

What can i do to make my account recoverable?

•Follow the steps described in 1.1

•If you uninstalled and installed again you get a new account and then follow the steps described in 1.2 using the username and password you noted in 1.1

What can i do to migrate my account into an account using Game Center login?

•Follow the steps described in 1.1

•After that you can uninstall the game, enable your Game center and then install again. You will get a new account for your Game Center login.

•Follow the steps described in 1.2 using the username and password you noted in 1.1

For Android:

You get this message if you chose to install the game without giving permission to the account data during installation. We need this permission for OAuth authentification if you want to use Google Play login.

In this case we are using a unqiue device id to identify you and log you in. On Android this id does not change with every uninstall/install of a game, that means an uninstall and new install of the game will not change your account. However if you lose your device or sell it you will lose access to your account and all your progress including purchased items is lost.

What can i do to make my account recoverable on another device?

•Follow the steps described in 1.1

•Install the game on your new device and then follow the steps in 1.2 using the username and password you noted in 1.1

What can i do to migrate my account into an account using Google Play games login?

•Follow the steps described in 1.1

•After that you can uninstall the game and install again this time giving the permission to access contacts (You need a Google Play accounts of course then). You will get a new account for your Google Play Games login.

•Follow the steps described in 1.2 using the username and password you noted in 1.1


1.1 Prepare your account so it can be linked:

1. Log in into the game with the account you want to keep playing with and click on your avatar icon on the top left

2. Click on the cog icon (settings tab)

3. Scroll to the bottom and click on the button 'Link accounts'

4. Click on the 'Set password' button.

5. Enter a password and repeat the password (password must be at least 8 characters long)

6. Click on the 'Confirm' button

7. Write down your user name and password



1.2 Link to (Transfer) an existing account:

1. Log in into the game with your new account and click on your avatar icon on the top left

2. Click on the cog icon (settings tab)

3. Scroll to the bottom and click on the button 'Link accounts'

4. In the 'Transfer account' section click on 'Input UserId' and enter the user name you noted in 1.1 (your old user name, the one you want to link to)

5. Now click on 'Input Password' and enter the password you noted in 1.1 (password for your old account)

6. Now click on the 'Transfer' button

7. In the following confirmation popup click on the 'Transfer' button again.

-> Your new account is linked to your old account now.

2. I don't see rainbow ghosts very often?

Regarding the frequency of videos and therefore the frequency of rainbow ghosts:

It depends on the country and the amount of videos watched by all users in that same country.

If too many videos are watched in a small time frame, there won't be any videos available.

We have no influence on this as this is regulated by the video provider.
